Policy:

All appointments must be paid in full online before the appointment.  If payment is not received, your credit card will be charged at the time of the appointment.

Cancellation policy:

We are happy to cancel or reschedule your appointment if necessary. Appointment times are reserved just for you. All cancellations must be made at least 24 hours (1 business day) in advance of your scheduled appointment otherwise you will be charged the current rate for that appointment. You will also be charged if you fail to not show up for your appointment or arrive more then 15 minutes late. Emergencies will be taken into consideration.

We will make every effort to provide you with adequate notice if  Dr. Patel will be unavailable for a scheduled appointment and will work to reschedule your appointment in a timely fashion.

APPOINTMENT TIMES:
Appointments will start and end at their scheduled times. In consideration of other patients, sessions cannot be extended for late arrivals.

In light of the efforts to contain the societal spread of the COVID-19/coronavirus, particularly to the lessen its impact on vulnerable populations, at this time Bayshore Psychiatry only conducts appointments by web conference in accordance with guidance from public health authorities.

Telemedicine is conducted in real-time using secure video conferencing technology to allow for the evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health conditions. We utilize secure, HIPAA-compliant live video conferencing software to deliver personalized treatment to you. You may be located anywhere at the time of your visit- wherever you feel comfortable and have privacy. I incorporated telemedicine into my practice years ago and enjoy being able to connect with patients in this way. It is ideal for young adults and families because it allows me to see you in your own space. But when it is safe to do so, I will offer in person appointments, should you prefer.

FORMS/CONSULTATIONS:
New patient forms and Questionnaires:

Bayshore Psychiatry will confirm your appointment via email with a link to develop your own patient portal where all the forms and questionnaires that must be filled out prior to the initial appointment and share with Dr. Patel. If you have any question regarding this process please email us at Contact@BayshorePsychiatry.com. Bayshore Psychiatry need this form at least 3 business days before your first appointment.  Dr. Patel understands questions and phone consultations with other providers are sometimes needed. She will return emails, phone calls free of charge if not extensive and can be completed in 5-10 minutes.
